I try to put pretty good tires on the family cars because we drive A LOT and it's all about miles per dollar.

But in choosing tires for the GMC it's more about what's going to do the job and last five years.

So, for example, we have the Michilan Agilas Crossclimate for $1300 per set or the Bridgestone Blizak for $670 per set.

Given that they all get replaced again in 2025 What qualitative difference will i see in the Michilans?

you will get all sorts of opinions.

my opinion, is just make sure it is a load range E, and it is a common tire. So if you have a road hazzard, or something happens to 1 tire, you can find a replacement easily. Usually common tires run around $150-160 a tire for the GMC.

Michelin is nice, and if I lived down in florida, texas or arizona where the tires are constantly hitting 100 degree pavement for 1/2 the year. I might opt for a michelin. But for most of us, we don't have to spend $200 a tire.

I like coopers, and right now i did install a set of toyo's on the back of the coach that I really like.

Also, what aobut different tires up front?

A lot of REVCON people put trailer tires in the rear. But the REVCON has a different size in back anyway

NEITHER. Buy good tires cheaply. I won’t use Chinese due to pucker factor and ethics. I went Cooper HT 3 on sale last time when 25% off and a $70 Visa gift card as well was thrown in

And Blizak are snow/ice compound. I’d stay away unless you are only using in winter

Michelins through FMCA cost me $175.00 each in August. If you have a Micheline Advantage program dealer nearby you don't have to handle the tires. You pay Micheline for the tires and the dealer for mounting and balancing. Call FMCA and check it out. I was told by Big O and Discount tire that the $175.00 was less than their cost. My experience, others may vary.

DONOT USE TIRES MARKED FOR TRAILER USE ONLY ON YOUR MOTORHOME. Could be a BIG fine from the
MAN.

That’s what I did a couple of years ago. I am happy with Michelin’s and would buy them again. The FMCA program is a pretty good deal. Never use trailer tires, most of them are horrible, read all the stories of blown trailer tires, I had a couple blow on my previous travel trailer and they were properly maintained and less than 5 years old. Most of them are Chinese crap built just strong enough to hold up the trailer.

I've been buying Coopers from the same dealer here for more than 30 years. I buy in pairs staggered a year or two per. Last pair was something like $250 on the rims balanced.
