Does anybody know the secret of getting the latch out of the glove box cover on a 78?

John,

My 78 glove box is gone (sold) but as I recall, (because I had to get the lock out to re-key it before it was sold) the lock was held into the door by a slide clip that barely protrudes from the upper edge of the glove box door. I just hooked the lip on the end of that clip and pulled it until the opening in it cleared the lock body.

I hope this is a help.

Matt
