Well, the original Magic Chef oven won't light anymore (stove top works fine). Oven pilot is lit, and will surge slightly for a second when we turn the temp up to 400 degrees, but never lights fully. (used to take a minute or 2 to light, but would always light reliably). heck, Maybe its time to replace with something new (3 burner stovetop with oven combo) if there's a simple drop-in unit that GMC people have been liking? or maybe there's an easy fix? model number is Bt16ds-3stvx-99. I've replaced almost everything in this motorhome over 20 years, but never had to mess with the oven; So maybe needs some maintenance? Any tips appreciated, thanks, and cheers!

I haven't used my oven and looks like the previous owners didn't ether.
My oven valve was leaking so I just removed the valve and plugged it at the manifold.
I never could find a new valve but would replace it if I could find one.
I think there is another valve at the pilot that checks the for the pilot before letting gas go to the burner.
Doesn't answer your problem though.
