Does anyone have the part number for the sway bar bushing for a 1977? The parts book only lists up tp 1976 so I'm guessing they changed a bit for 1977?
Thanks for any help.
Hal

Jim K has the right ones. Him and I had a bit of an adventure getting it right. They were just in a bag so can't give you a part number. I would suggest you order from him. They are very reasonably priced.

You can order the bushing for the sway bar and the stabilizer bar end link set at Jim K, fair price!

This is for the stock size sway bar.
https://www.gmcrvparts.com/product-p/g95169g.htm

https://www.gmcrvparts.com/product-p/g98122g.htm

The black bushing material is black urethane.

If you have to have the bushings to be red in color then you can order them directly from Energy Suspension.

This is a bit convoluted, but here's what I have on my '75 Eleganza.

Years ago, I had a 1988 Toyota 4-Runner. At some point I saw a deal on urethane sway bar bushings and links, so I bought them. Never got around to putting on the 'Yota, but a few years later, I noticed my new-to-me GMC needed sway bar bushings. Just for grins, I held the 4-Runner parts up to my front end, and amazingly, they fit! No guarantees, but I THINK a set of urethane sway bar bushings and links for a 1988 4-Runner will fit a GMC. Wink

Personally, I'm thinking of going back to rubber as I really want to soften the front suspension. I love the rear air bags, but the front is too harsh on potholes and bumps for my taste.

When I did mine year ago, I got my control arm bushings Steve Ferguson and the sway bar bushings from Auto Zone. I have no idea of the part numbers now. Call Jim K or Energy Suspension.

There is a method of what parts to use that Steve F and Dave Linze have
taught a lot of us .
We are running radial tires and require a different set up than old specs.
Contact me before you start so you will not be disappointed with new parts.
