I’m trying to look into the best piping and gate valve arrangement for a macerator system. Also needed info on best cost effective macerator pump.
I went to the”GMC Motorhome Info” site to gather info and it takes me to a medical drug site?? This has happen a time or two before recently when I needed info. Use to use that site alot on learning on topics I was working on the coach with. Anybody else getting this too?

Thanks,
TG

Do a "Macerator" search on the GMC Photo site.

The black pipe used in RV's is ABS plastic pipe. It can handle the vibration of RV use. The white pipe is PVC. I would avoid PVC pipe. As it tends to leak at the joints with time. Some adhesives are for both types of pipe. Check the label.

The web server has likely been compromised - which is allowing search engine redirects.

Using this search engine:

https://duckduckgo.com/

Search for "gmcmotorhome.info"

The top result is the correct one and directs correctly.

I've CC'd Gene Fisher - he'd likely need to fix the issue from his end.

Hi Tom,
For a mascerator, I just installed a Jabsco 18590-2092 to replace the Jabsco that was installed in our coach in 1997. The Jabsco appears to be a good product, and a popular choice for a mascerator. Be sure to put in a gate valve, before the mascerator for future maintenance.
