Thanks for the ideas around Bowling Green. Adventure s
A 6-car enclosed tractor/trailer is coming tomorrow to load up all the cars. Consisting of 1- 67 Yenko Camaro, 2- 66 Yenko Stingers, 1- 69 ZL1 Camaro, 1 -67 Yenko Stinger, And the 1- 69 Yenko Stinger ever built. I'm not a car show person. But it's a real honor to be asked to put my cars in the National Corvette Museum. And since I've never owned a Corvette. Then the cars are coming back home next week. This kind of stuff keeps me out of the Bars. If you're in the area. Stop By. Bob Dunahugh

Darn COVID. As I am a School Bus driver and wouldn't be working this time of year, it would have been great to go to Bowling Green to see Bob's cars and the musuem. But alas the border is closed to vacation travel. For some this would have been a "it may never happen again" trip.
Bob, have a GREAT TIME

You aren't the only one. I planned to be in Western Canada about this time. The Canadians will let me in but I have to quarantine for 14 days after I enter.

Also I sent my passport and border crossing card in for renewal in March and I still have not received my new one. It has only been 4 months. I did find out that they will still accept a Birth Certificate and a government issued photo ID. There is some thing about crossing if you have a nexus card and no quarantine, but I never checked that one out. I just gave up.

Please don't feel left out......

My wife's Canadian cousin and husband frequently go to Florida (they keep a sailboat in Miami). They usually travel though Detroit Metro. This winter, they came north during a severe cold spell and the car that they left with us refused to start. They typical thing for them to do is come over here, we take them to DTW in their car and we bring the car back our house until they return. Well, this year, they rented a vehicle and when home for the week plus and came back and we picked them up at the rental and dropped them at the airport. When they came north next was in their most recent Florida car and just in front of the plague. So they have been at home since.

This all started in January. It was way too cold to take things apart over may gravel parking area. I still made a couple of tries to get it started. But, I got my coach out of the heated barn and their car backed into it but still took a good couple of months on and off to get it started. That finally did happen, but we are now trying to figure out how to get the car back to them.

Think that is going to wait for the all clear signal - If the Empress should ever allow that. If the election does not go her way, it may not ever be.

That sounds like it will be a special display! Hope you can share some photos. They had better have good insurance on that load load of cars!

Safe travels!

Nexus (by itself) does not get you out of the quarantine requirements.

The only exemptions are:

Certain travellers are exempt from the requirements to quarantine. This includes those who:
cross the border regularly to ensure the continued flow of goods and essential services, or
receive or provide other essential services to Canadians
