Can someone tell me if you can use a pressure bleeder with one-person speed bleeders?  I'd like to put them on the front just in case I have to do brake work when I don't have Jim Hupy's pressure bleeder handy.

I dont know if thats a good idea....the "what if" factor here means you dont have brakes. I think, in my opinion, putting them in you onboard tool box just in case make better sense to me.

Since a speed bleeder is basically a replacement bleeder screw with a check valve in it, I don't see how that could hurt. Once they are closed, they are the same as a standard bleeder screw.

I have them on my '53 Jeep and the only problem I have experienced with them is that they tend to plug up tight from disuse, so they might not do what you want them to do when you need to bleed the brakes.

Have you thought about a Mighty Vac to bleed your brakes. You just have to
remember to check the level in the master cylinder.

Speed bleeders do work. I don't know if the Hupy bleeding process makes enough pressure to bleed
through them.
Also you can't gravity bleed brakes with Speed Bleeders in place.
