Anyone know what springs were used in the stock 403 distributor? When i removed the dist cap the weights and springs were rusty.....i managed to free things up but i'm sure it could use some new springs and even maybe a weight/plate freshening.

Already sent him an inquiry....i guess i thought he was out of the distributor business but i found out wrong according to his reply email. Now to see what his wisdom says.

Call Dick Paterson at Springfield Ignition.
That is what he does......

Or just have him build you one with the correct vac advance and correct springs and weights as measured by his distributor machine. He will set it up and mail it to you. Just return your core to him by return mail.
