Do you mean that there are upgrades for under $500? Well. How about a Digi-Panel. Or a new 12V convertor/charger. We had our first 78 Royale burn Aug 30, of 1015. Got another 78 Royale on Oct 29th. Then a complete rebuilt of our second one. On the road again by March 14th of 2016. I was a man on a mission. Ended up with $42,000 in parts only. All my labor was FREE. ( I did thank me for the free labor. GRIN ) Not many checks written for under $500. To Jim K. Well. Grace really. I was extremely happy with their service. Great people. Thanks Grace. Well. OK. Maybe Jim.

Thanks Todd. A little splash of humor is required at time. I think some new owners get overwelled at times. Then it becomes a JOB. In, and of itself. Many have old cars as hobbies. ( And I have too many of those.) The GMC is just bigger. With a kitchen sink. I completely took our 78 GMC apart. And reassembled it 136 days. By myself. There where 2 key ways that I did it. I made the phases into many, many small goals. In that way. I got a mental reward each time the goal was met. Thus, I was able to keep it a hobby. I really enjoyed doing it. Bob
