I got a call from Richard Valinoti this morning he asked me to contact anyone I could think of to see if anyone has a copy of the seminar that Armand Minnie recorded at a Western States rally a few years ago with Manny doing a transmission overhaul. Apparently part two of this seminar exists but part one has been lost and Richard is looking for it. Story is that Armand had a computer crash and lost the first part. Can anyone help with this?

Richard looked for it on the Western States web page, talked to Armand, and Manny himself, and did not find any info on this. He was hoping that someone on the West Coast might have a copy of this that he could post on the web for posterity given Manny's imminent retirement. Several people are working on transmissions and Manny's tricks and procedures would be of immeasurable value to the group overall.

Thanks,

Carl Stouffer '75 ex Palm Beach Tucson, AZ. Chuck Aulgur Reaction Arm Disc Brakes, Quadrabags, 3.70 LSD final drive, Lenzi knuckles/hubs, Dodge Truck 16" X 8" front wheels, Rear American Eagles, Solar battery charging. GMCSJ and GMCMI member

I have the second part located, and will post for public download in a bit and will advise.

I’ll redouble my efforts to find the first part in the next couple of days.

Here’s the link to Part 2 (Second Day)

It’s a MP4 video file, and about 3.85GB (in other words, it’s a fairly large file)

In case anyone else doesn't have an iCloud account, let me know, and I
shall give you a place to download it from without a need for an account.

Don't want just shout out a URL, as maybe people have an issue with me
uploading it to a new place.

Unfortunately I've received confirmation that there isn't a Part 1 video. The first day's seminar video wasn't usable and never made it to a DVD.

I'm disappointed about the first but glad we have the second.

On to the next windmill...

Wasn’t the first day basically dis-assembly? I would assume that the important stuff was covered on day 2.

Do you think there would be any objection by Armand if I took this video and compressed the file and put it on my youtube channel?
Hopefully not loose any clarity just reduce the file size.

Have we considered someone going by Manny's shop and making a video of what leads up to the second part before he gets out of the THM-425 business completely?
