Guys and Gals,

I have a 1977, Birchaven, Rear Bath. My water heater is under the beverage station.

It is a very old Atwood water heater (Model:G6A2-E, as far as I can tell from supplied paperwork). It just stopped working. I believe I ignited it before it was filled or had any water in it. Now the switch light does not come on, nor anything else. It appears to have no power. I checked the fuses and all are in good order. I do not believe this is the original unit.

The Big Question: If the ECO (Emergency Cut Off) fails, does it cut all power to include the switch light and ignitor? The ECO is in the back of this unit (inside the motorhome), Part number 91951. It has a LRB (Little Red Button) on it. I pressed it for a restart, but it doesn't appear to be popped out, nor does it go in. unfortunatly many parts on this unit are no longer available or obsolete.

Sorry for the starting another boring thread on a beat up topic (water Heaters).

Thanks in advance for any input and all take care,

Tom & Oki Katzenberger
