The “hood” hinges from my 1977 Palm Beach are definitely steel.

The ones from my 1976 “Donor” coach are stainless steel.

Anyone know if these were aftermarket, or if it was a running change for GM?

It’s mostly curiosity. I’m putting the stainless ones on with stainless fasteners.
