Lots of folks swear by Wix for both oil AND air filters. I believe NAPA's high line filters are made by Wix.

When i was using a k&n air filter my oil test results came back from the lab showing I had a possible leakage in my air filter allowing dirt to enter the oil? I switched to a stock type paper filter and the problem was rectified.

K and N air filters keep the big chunks of Stuff out of an engine. They
were designed to flow as much air as possible for high performance
applications, where frequent engine teardowns are common. NOT A GOOD CHOICE
FOR A MOTORHOME APPLICATION, in my opinion. Oil analysis will reveal lots
of contamination that can only enter through the intake manifold. Use them
at your own risk, but don't be surprised if your engine starts burning oil
sooner than you think it should.
What is the absolute best air filtration system out there? Treated, pleated
paper filters. Disposable. Throw that dirt away. Buy a new clean one.
Factories used a number of different type of air filtration systems through
the decades, and have pretty much settled upon pleated paper.
I used to faithfully clean those old oil bath, and cyclonic
pre-cleaners that used coarse steel wool and other similar stuff. Always
got a bunch of dirt downstream in the inlet tract, and always wondered how
well they worked. Not nearly well enough I always thought. Now, with
scientifically accurate testing methods, we can compare objectively, and
leave blind brand loyalty out of the equation.

This guy is usually pretty accurate in his testing but flawed this time. His sifter application is not real world. On the darker K and N you see uneven application and much off to the side. He should have sifted into the operating air intake stream and let it apply as in the real world. Thick pack areas will flow less but probably filter better once pack layer is established.
