Anyone around South Eastern Wisconsin (Racine Wisconsin) that has rebuilt/upgraded a steering column? My tilt is flopping and won't hold a position and I have to fish for drive, reverse, park ect on shift handle. As it happens I have two whole slave steering columns that fit the model/time frames described in all the posts/power points that I've seen. I have a zillion projects and quite frankly this is not one I'd really enjoy taking on at the moment. I would be grateful for any suggestions on whom might help,,, Cheers

Did not you or someone just in recent days get a set of pointers on doing that from Chuck? He is the Steering Column Guru, do what he says. If it's beyond you amass the parts and meet him or someone who's done it at a work rally. I gather it isn't hard so much as 'ticky' everywhere. Go with experience.
