A friend sent me a link to this article about GMCs:

There's a very interesting note in the comment section I've never seen before:

"Most owners didn't realize that if the front wheels were turned either completely to the right or the left that BOTH drive wheels would engage and lock and you could 'walk' the coach gradually out of most snow or mud situations by turning the wheel one way and lock and then turn it the other way and lock. I never got stuck but you had to know the technique."

Can anybody verify this technique??
