After dealing with AT&T for 60+ years, I've finally shut down all dealings
with them. The DSL (all that's available here) never got over 3MB download
speed & frequently 0 upload. The voice line was down 12 days last month
and the DSL a good part of that time. So, I reluctantly switched to
Mediacom last week for internet access -- at about 20 MB down. Today, I
cancelled the voice line -- (229)924-0851. If anyone still has that
number, you need to change to (229) nine thirty-eight 27 Nine Seven for me
or ...Six for HER.

If you want to keep the old numbers look into having them "ported" to the new company. I had the same landline # for 23 yrs. When I retired and employer no longer provided cell phone, I got my own cell phone, did away with landline, and had landline number ported to cell phone. Now have had same number for 35 years.

I'm waiting for a nod from Spectrum - the only alternative to AT here. On the basis of 'Less Worst'.
