I had lots of parts. Put some of them on this site. Almost no bights. Then back last Summer I started posting things for free. ( There was a guy from Canada that I was to send an EFI harness too. I can't fine his e-mail. If he sees this . Contact me again.) That got more interest. Still not much. Then I got monitored on this site. Not a big deal. So I just quit posting all together. Went to posting back privately. I'll still post alittle here. But very limited. Lost interest. Moved on. Need to mind my own business. As to the parts. I just hauled most of the parts to Marion Iron. Two bright sides to this. 1. Got cash for the scrap. 2. Stuffs gone. Sill have some really nice rear brake drums. FREE. Those are going in the next load. Have 2 rebuilt GMC trans on hand. For someone that has a problem on the road in my area. That hasn't worked out well. So I sold one. One more to go. Being a free warehouse isn't fun anymore.
There's a 77 GMC that's about a mile from me on a farm. Lots of great parts. Our fix it up. And use it. It's down to $900. Here in Iowa. Be great for parts. I have the room to part it out. But I have ZERO interest in it.
So here I am. Butting in gain.

I could be wrong but I think Bob is on the email net and does not use the GMCforum "web" site at all.

Dig his email out of his post and email him.

Bob came through for me when I needed a rear hub with a good bearing
installed in it.

GMCRECS, as I recall, tried this business model for a while, but used stuff
is risky, and prices for it often don’t reflect the cost of recovery.

If you guys would join the GMC International you might learn to call
people. Membership is not that high and the benefits are great.
Also learn to contact the suppliers like us as we know a lot , plus we know
the main players in the community that know.
Wake up people.

Jim i know your a very giving person and love to help which i know is a very rare thing these days but im trying to save my phone calls or visits [when im in CA] for when i absolutely need to bug you.....as for using the phone itself, well, when you work like i do or keep hours like i do, i usually dont call anyone [i work anytime 24/7 and change time zones every week so i actually have to plan to phone people]

There will come a day though, i can assure you....lol.

Bob,
I believe I am the Canadian guy you are looking for. We talked back in October and I sent a couple of emails, but they must be going to your email junk folder.

I have sent you another email. If you don't receive my email, look for it in your junk folder.

Thanks
