George,

Thanks for the link.
I kind of smiled. We made the tent for our 73 Vega and used it for years. We still have the red Coleman Cooler, but the plastic bottom is starting to break up. The Coleman stove just like that will burn in a few minutes because is stored with no pressure in the tank.
I stood on that beach in the GMC piture. It was not real accessible in 1989 and is probably less so today.

Matt

Matt,
I am not positive, but I think the beach (Lake Huron) in the picture is behind the lighthouse in Mackinaw City. Easy to get to and full of people in the summer. If it was taken from the UP side you should be able to see Mackinaw City on the far end of the bridge to the left. We're in Mackinaw City often since our little place on Lake Michigan is about 3 miles west of the bridge. The GMC looks like it was cut and pasted in (before Photoshop) since you can see what looks to me to be like a floor under the coach. Although you can see what I think is the St. Ignace side through the windows. If it was my GMC on the beach that way there would be no way I could get it out without help.

Hope someone we know buys the 1980 Buehrig.

Yup. If that was made on the UP side, they did pretty well to get the sun
to shine on the north side of the bridge piers. :)

Our hot rods with plumbing are anything but that...
