Tanks out and back in. Forum coaching and advice helped me through this process at every step. Thank you all for sharing your experience/knowledge on this topic. One entirely unexpected find: expansion of spray foam between the undercarriage aluminum skin and plywood floor caused deflection of the aluminum. In the bays above the tanks, this "belly" in the aluminum was 3/4" down below the coach sub-frame, into space that should have been positive clearance for the tanks. That condition resulted in the tank tops, hoses and sending unit all in hard contact with the undercarriage aluminum skin when the tanks were bolted up in place.
After the time and effort to clean and prep the tanks for re-installation, I was compelled to remedy that condition. Further conversation on that topic could be an entirely separate thread. Bottom line - I got to Harpers Ferry National Park in WV last weekend for a meet up and glorious fall camping with my sister and cousins. Album for the tank effort located here: http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/g7257-gas-tanks-removal-26amp-3b-prep.html

Again - Thank you!
