Thanks Rich. I'm sure that's the next thing that will go pear-shaped in my blower system.
Jim K seems to have one listed - https://www.gmcrvparts.com/product-p/gm7-042.1.htm - maybe I should order one, just in case.

BTW, I went into the parts interchange (to look up the part numbers - eBay often comes through!) and clicked on the 'Blower" in the Heater/AC section, and was told I don't have permission to access this information? Weird. I could access everything else.

I found it under heater i think....the one that interchanges is not the correct one for my 77 as the cross over has tge back plate and knob attached....mine does not.

Is this what yours looks like? https:// www.ebay.ca/itm/NOS-GM-1223590-1971-1976-FULL-SIZE-BUICK-PONTIAC-Heater-A-C-FAN-BLOWER-SWITCH/254347617420?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p 2060353.m1438.l2649.
I only got a cursory glimpse over the dash in a mirror when I was trouble shooting my blower motor last summer, so I can't really say if mine matches up.
NOS and it looks like it might not be the happiest piece of kit after storage. If that exterior rust/corrosion translates to the inside.....

There are a couple of listings from the looks of it. And not all complete (the plastic toggles not always there) Switch $ aren't too bad. They are all soaking us on the shipping though!!

Yes but it has to be for one with A/C as well....i dont buy from the Bay much anymore because the shipping has gotten out of hand.
