Second question.... As it relates to the drivers and passenger windows (the three glass section windows, again do these have a specific name?) I have the material to replace the slider gaskets for both windows (Thanks J. Bounds) and the cat wisker wipers that goes vertical between the fixed window and the sliding window. My question is how is the top window fixed into the frame? It looks like a kind of lock ring rubber gasket, but I cant be sure, and I would really like to remove it and reseal under it, but cant risk damaging it during removal it I can't get a replacement. Does any know whats what in relation to this window (whats actually sealing it, are there replacements, etc)?

Thanks everyone,

Rich Kinas

The window is held in place by a u-shaped rubber channel strip. The problem is, that it appears the whole window frame would need to be removed to change the seal on the fixed glass. At the rear of the frame by the horizontal division bar, you will see the frame is cut to allow the necessary bending apart to allow both the upper and lower fixed panes to be removed and resealed.

The windshield installer folks at Mansfield recommended that I trim the part of the seal on mine that has pulled free, and fill the small gap remaining with black automotive urethane glass adhesive. That will be the path I pursue on my coach.

I had this same question a week ago -- http://gmc.mybirdfeeder.net/GMCforum/index.php?t=msg&th=43004&start=0&rid=5434

When I finish the job, I will post the results here.
