Since I have the coach at the house today I'm going to try and install the
gray leather Honda seats the Chris located for us a while ago.

Couple of questions...

Use the GMC tracks or Honda tracks? I've been all thru the photos and still
can't figure out which is best.

Beer can holder, can't seem to find them on my seats...a necessary option!

LOL

Cheers,

""Beer can holder, can't seem to find them on my seats...a necessary option!""

Only on the cloth versions for some reason.

As far as which tracks to use, I think it's a toss-up as far as work involved. In my case, I wanted the adjuster lever on the side instead of front--again, just a matter of preference. When I swivel my seats, I have to move them forward, and it is easier to reach the side mounted adjuster when not sitting in the seat. I rarely if ever move it while driving--only when swiveling.

Getting a tad frustrated here, maybe because I'm working inside the coach
rather than outside as usual because of the rain.

I need the seats to swivel, so says my copilot. They need to go back and
forth so says the both of us. I'd like it if the backs fold flat. All I
have managed to do today is remove the plastic skirt and loose two of the
12mm nuts that hold the seat slide mechanism in place. Not having fun so
far.

Cheers,

John,

Thanks, I needed that! LOL! As a former New Yorker, having been stationed
in NY, OH, and MI, and even CA I think we will stay here. We do have snow,
it's in the mountains where it belongs, about 45 min from here and we can
see it from our front deck.

I did manage to get the track off one of the seats....still have not found
those 12mm nuts. Calling it day here, hot tub and a cold one awaits us.

Thanks again,

Len and Pat

I bought a set on Ebay last night. Thanks to everyone for all the info. I have not had a question go unanswered,
, I am restoring a 57 Tbird and would give anything to have such a site to go to for help, we have such a wealth or information out there and people more than willing to share such as all of you.

Wesley,

If you get them to talk to you and want to go get 3 sets, I'll share the
cost!  I'll bet some other Dixielanders would too. :-)

Peter,

I got a couple of tan Honda seats for Double Trouble in the USA from:

Andy Jackson
Email: andyljackson@yahoo.com

Seats and shipping to Houston was $345 as you noted below so it could be the
same guy.

Gary,
Sited on ebay the honda seats selling around $200 a pair +freight at $145
I believe these are the seats that are used in our GMC's they are the second

row.
I plan to buy a pair but the logistics of shipping becomes an issue, I need
a supplier in Seattle.
