I noticed this at the beginning of a short (1 hour) trip to a campground Friday. Today, coming back home, I noticed it again. When making a right turn, I sense something similar to what I would feel if most of my lug nuts were loose, or that my left tire was really low on air. None of those things are the case. I will get it up on jacks in a day or two and see what I can see but any words of wisdom is appreciated. (BTW, this does not happen with a LEFT turn).
Thanks Larry

You might want to check the Bottom ball joint mountings.

VERY loose right wheel bearings? Or maybe just a loose tie rod end?

Thanks for the suggestions. I will check the shaft ends and the ball joint. Ken, I only sense this on the LEFT side, when making a RIGHT turn. Assuming that more weight is on the left wheel during a turn to the right I thought that might have something to do with it. Possibly it could be fooling me from the right side.....I won't avoid the right side. Thanks. Larry

That was my thought too. Those are special bolts and have a high torque setting. I believe it is around 70 ft-pounds. Look it up for sure. I have been out on three different Black List calls where that was the problem. All three were the driver's side.
I keep spares in stock for the next Black List call. It is difficult to find replacement ones on a weekend. If you end up replacing some, the lock washers are special too.

While I have not had a chance to jack her up and take a look......I will say that earlier this year I ordered two complete axles from Applied. I installed the right side. I did it "by the book". For the left side, I took it to a local shop that has helped our GMC community in the past and they installed the drivers side. When I got there to pick it up, I noticed the baggie I left with the new bolts. I had also left written instructions of what I expected (and what knew). These were given to the counter lady/manager. Neither my scribbles OR the bolts made it to the shop so they reused the old ones. So, they jacked it up out in the parking lot and took out the old and installed my new ones, even sent a guy to the parts place across the street for some Locktite. I believe he torqued them but I was not under the coach with him. Those axles and CV joints have about 1500 miles as I add them up. I really do HOPE it is the bolts. Have new ones coming. I will be sure to let this forum know of what I find, when I get a chance to get her up on the jackstands. Stand by and thanks.
