Hi, all... Just got a "blacklist call" from a chap (heh) from the UK who picked up a '76 GMC in California (IIRC) and is enroute to Texas, but lost the left front bearing in Arizona (near Holbrook, AZ which is kind of the middle of nowhere between Flagstaff and Albuquerque).

Apparently the bearing is out and he's been told (by Manny, I believe) that he needs a new "fully populated" knuckle to have a chance of getting the rig put back together in time to get it to Texas for shipment to the UK.

It's a long-shot, but does anyone in the area (and by this I mean anywhere that can ship a part to AZ in short order) have a workable knuckle / bearing that might help this guy out?

Please feel free to IM me, or to contact me via email or phone (I'm on the blacklist and think my info is available in the directory here).

Thanks,
Mark Hickey

No but I lost a REAR axle bearing in Holbrook while driving 77 Monte Carlo from Vegas to Chicago in the 80s. Marathon station on main drag south of interstate got a junk yard axle and had me going in 2 days. Honest place.

So y
this guy contacte me and I told him he needed the Full assembly
(Kuckle,hub, rotor, bearing,seals and retainer)
Advised him that we can assemble it and ship out today(Friday).
This was at 3:00 and UPS would be by at 4:30 to pick up.
He said he would call back.
Well he call after 5 when everyone left and wanted us to deliver to the San
Francisco airport around 2:00 am.
Nick turned him down as he knew I have something to handle here Saturday.
Normally we would have done so , but all our employees had to handle
overtime to help and I have an elaborate Air and surface test I need to
turn in Monday am.
