John,
I replaced the OEM "buzz box" with the Iota DLS 45/smart charger" That was
13 years ago. Like yours, the thing just works!!
When the coach is idle/garaged, I leave the Iota connected to garage AC.
I use only Optima batteries in all of my "fleet". The Iota keeps the three
Optima coach batteries properly charged.

I have had no issues with my IOTA converter with the optional external smart
module. I think they are best dollar value.
