I have a 78 Eleganza sitting my my hangar with neither rear suspension compressor operational. The owner has an injured back that required surgery 2 weeks ago. So I figured that I would go fix it. I have never worked on an Electrolevel II, So I have been digging through the wiring diagrams for about an hour and think I have it figured out along with an appropriate diagnostic approach to start with.
I have a couple of simple questions before I go out there and attack this problem. The 1978 diagram shows a 30 amp CB feeding both compressors through acc position of the ignition switch. Where is that CB located? I am assuming it is behind the glove box.
The diagram also shows 2 relays, (one for each compressor). Where are they located?
See I told you they were simple questions. I could probably find them on my own once I got there but I am playing lazy right now.

Hi Ken, yes the 30 amp circuit breaker is same place as El 1. Top of fuse panel behind glove box. The relays are in the cabinet with the compressors and are the same ones as the El 1 except wiring is different. The compressors and relays are hot all the time and the photo cell leveling sensors in the wheel well switches the grounds. The electronic photo cells leveling sensors are now listed on Applied available new.

I have a spare EL2 compressor that i would sell. I decided to go for a
single unit and tank. Sorry, only 1. You will need two if you're sticking
with the original set up

Thanks Russel. I think I can find it. I was just getting prepared for the job before I went and looked at the actual coach. I hate sitting on the floor in front of that door working on the compressor(s). It takes me forever to get my legs working again.

Thanks. At this point I have not diagnosed the problem so I have no idea if the compressors are bad. There is a good chance a PO modified something. Who knows at this point. The PO had been dead for many years.
