Subject: Fix for fogged headlights
There are many hits on the internet about cleaning the haze off your
plastic headlight covers.
They range from easy peasy to lots of work, and cheap to several hundred
bucks.
Many of them say that their solution lasts longer than the easier or
cheaper ones.
As easy and inexpensive as these two are....who cares. Less than 5
minutes if you don't have to spend too much time looking for where you
left the ingredients.
Half water, half white vinegar: Spray directly on the outside of the
heaadlight, then immediately wipe off with a rag or paper towel. No need
to scrub or leave it on. The cloudy film comes right off, leaving the
headlights much clearer. One step shorter and cheaper thn using the
insect repellent.
================
Spray bug repellent containing DEET directly on the outside of the
heaadlight, then immediately wipe off with a rag or paper towel. No need
to scrub or leave it on. The cloudy film comes right off, leaving the
headlights much clearer. Then wash with soap and water. That's it. You
can use the leftover bug repellent to repel bugs.
