In piling through my spares today, I found a Quadrajet
7043254
It came off my parts coach (a 1975)
I’m guessing from the bar codes on it, it was rebuilt about a decade ago.
I recall that it ran well.

Just by installing a carb kit is not the same as a true rebuilt unit like
the Springfield unit we sell.

You can always read the spark plugs to see if the mixture is too lean.
