Anyone else here remember the last time at Dothan when KenH lead an excursion to a private collection?
Well, that was where Mike and Frank went last night.

I was shut down for the evening and summer TV is what it is, Pickers was on and they were just north of the Florida - Georgia border. Wasn't paying a whole of attention until they turned in a long drive. When I saw that loonng pole barn, I thought I knew where they were. I was right.

They looked at a lot of his stuff and even bought some, but they couldn't manage everything that they actually thought about. They did miss showing some of the things that I thought were his neatest pieces and collections.

Yes, Matt that was a great experience with lots of STUFF, mostly various autos and multitude of auto parts both foreign and domestic from the 1920 thru 1960’s. I went looking but I couldn’t find the pictures that I took during that visit. I did not see the Pickers show this week but it will be repeated.

Matt,
I do remember that experience and thinking this is what made the trip to Dothan worthwhile.

Matt,
Thanks for sharing the info on that very cool place. I think that I found that episode on the web:

You have to sign in with your cable provider.

It seems that I missed out by not attending that GMCMI rally. I would have loved going to that site.

Matt,

Thanks for bringing that to our attention. I haven't yet seen the show but
will try to find it.

We'll have to try to visit again if we have another Dothan rally.
