Joe,

Welcome to the group, family, cult, asylum...
You will want to add the location because the half that still get this from a mail list can't see the header. This matters because you just collected a couple of thousand new old friends and there is probably one or more nearby that can help.

You are asking for a hub cap. I am guessing that you want a full beauty cover. There is also an inner bearing cover. If it is the full cover that you want, there are easy to come by as they can't go on alloy wheels and they won't fit 16" steel wheels. That means that they're are more than a few lying unused.

You say you want to restore her. Go right ahead, but be ready to use her as intended because that is what they were made for. You need to get to a few rallies to see what others have done. And if you can possibly work it. Get her to the international in Mansfield OH in October. That should be about 400 miles. That can be one long day or split into two. You will be able to learn more about the coach just standing in one place than you could in a year of other things.

In this forum, you will be able to get very specific advice as to what you should do and what you should not. There may be some small disagreements here, but we have people writing here that have huge and long experience with these old girls. What you read here will either be good or will be promptly corrected. This is one of the reasons a sigfile is so important. There are variations between the years and models that sometimes matters a lot.

You found your way here even before you bought, that was a very good idea. Now that you are an owner, you are a part of a large and very special community. These people in this community all (including yours truly) have a very specific and not hidden agenda. We all want to see that you get to enjoy both the coach and what it can do for you as much as we know it can. Communities such as this are rare and the only one actually know about is that of the watermen that are my world. For this reason, I like to welcome new owners as any new owner or vessel is welcomed there. So,

May the Good Lord bless this coach and all those that set forth within her.

Welcome Joe and Valerie
