Take a look at Atlis Motor Vehicles. While still very much in the “we are planning to” stage they are focused on multipurpose vehicles including a platform for RV manufacturers. First target is a full sized pickup with 400 to 500 mile range, ultra fast recharging at free factory charging stations and whopping towing capacity. It is designed around a motor in each hub so the pickup is said to be towable four down, have 15 inches of true ground clearance, 12 inches of susp travel and able to ford up to one meter depths. If true and really comes to market it sound like just the ticket to take RVs (maybe even GMC retrofits) to a whole new level. Seems to be way farther along than idle speculation.
