What is the consensus of the forum of which type of Transmission gasket should be used...Cork or the rubber one that comes with the filter kit?

Also going to replace the pan with Applieds new aluminum pan, has anyone used it yet? If so, what should the torque be and any comments on the new pan

Thank You

Ask Jimmy the K or Manny which gasket. If they differ, use Jim's suggestion, cos he'll make it good if it leaks.

Hey Jim, I bought your kit and your new pan. But I also have a couple of cork gaskets and was just wondering the best Way to go.
I also called and spoke to a rep and asked about the torque for the new pan, he told me to just tighten down snug?

And here is why I like/use Jim Kanomata at Applied GMC in California - see attachment below - that kind of reputation is invaluable!
