As I recall. I've found some replacement torque convertor bosses. SAE, and some metric. One has a smaller bolt diameter. Am I recalling this correctly? Someone has shown me an issue with the bosses threaded hole. Maybe a Hila-coil maybe needed. This guy has done a huge amount of work to his GMC. Thinking that he just may have become a candidate for a board position in the Club of. ( Bob Dunahugh has made me spend a lot of money club.) Seems to be my COMFORT ZONE remarks. Bob Dunahugh

Many torque converters will physically fit the space for the TM425. Some
are USS thread, Some are DIN METRIC, and there may be some ISO stuff out
there, although I have never seen one. Some are 3 lug, some are 6 lug. A
good thread gage will tell you what the pitch is. If you switch in the
wrong bolts, you will likely as not will have the threads lock up before
there is clamping pressure applied to the flex plate. Even a torque wrench
will click and give you a false reading. Trust me, bad stuff will happen if
you do this. Be sure, be very sure that the threads match.

When I use to turn wrench, we would always check the thread and bolt as it
is too late to figure out the bolt size when your under the coach.
Be sure to use Blue Loc Tite on the flywheel and converter bolts.
