Glue is ok, but I used self tapping screws to secure them to the aluminum cross supports. JWID

Do have those too. If I use those, then no glue needed?

I did mine quite a few years back but I didn’t use any lubricant. I found that Liquid Nails applied to both sides acted as a lubricant. I felt that if i put in a lubricant it would stay there and possibly allow movement of the pad in the future. I used a small block of wood and a hammer to tap them into place. They slid in quite easily. Then I used a single self tapping metal roofing screw to fasten it to the flat aluminum floor member at each location

I did not use glue. Just the screws. Over 10 yrs now and non of them have moved. To do the job, I put the coach up on a set of ramps like these:

http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/my-ramps/p65471-ramps.html
and made a short set for the front wheels.
Then using a bottle jack and a 6" piece of 2X4, gently lifted the body next to the set where the pad belonged. Just enough to slide the new pad in. Then used two self tapping hex screws to secure them to the aluminum cross members. JWID

Yikes, forgot. Have the heater hose running from engine back to water heater. Will have to drop the brackets for the hose to clear a post for the post to lift. Should the hoses stay or go?

I used 3M Super Weatherstrip Adhesive on top of pucks:

https://www.amazon.com/3M-08008-Black-Weatherstrip-Adhesive/dp/B00063X38M/ref=asc_df_B00063X38M/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=31218177623 7&hvpos=1o2&hvnetw=g&hvrand=14499799024937829263&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9 011793&hvtargid=pla-627402842112&psc=1

One tube was plenty. No screws but I had plenty of space to insert the puck and jam a wedge in till the adhesive set properly. None have fallen or come loose so far. Pucks don't give you much room for screws anyway. The thing I don't like about steel screws in aluminum is that corrosion will lock the screw in place over time. Maybe anti-seize would help prevent that.

Didn't think to lube the bottom side at the time. If I ever do lube I would consider anti-seize or look for something else that would not bleed out too easily.
