These campers have tried these "potions" and so far have succeeded in
keeping the pests at bay at the campgrounds.
You may find it interesting.

Very helpful info. As for ants, especially if they are actually IN your RV, boat, or home, I have found a VERY useful product (after trying many). It even rids us of those annoying but basically harmless Pi$$ ants. The product is "TERRO" liquid ant baits. The bait is a liquid that is sealed when you buy it. Hold the product horizontally as you will place it, cut the designated end off with shears and lay it on the floor or wherever the ants congregate. The cutoff point provides a "ramp" for the ants to climb in and feast then take the bait back to their nests. As is usual, it will probably take up to two weeks to get rid of them totally but you won't see them again until a new colony invades your space.

As mentioned in the video, be careful where you place these baits, especially if you have young children or animals around.

I believe we got them at Home Depot.
