Meantime, I have to get Chuck Boyd's trolley back to him. Is anybody in Tallahassee going back via I 75 past Atlanta and up to or past or close to Knoxville who might be able to carry it?

Matt - thought with ice cream and not watching the derby.
We have not heard much of anything about the goings on at the current GMCMI. Perhaps they are talking about it on Facebook and since I don't do Facebook, I would not know.

I've been to 15 GMCMI conventions since 1999 and have enjoyed them all. Too bad SHE does not want to go, if SHE did I would have gone to more.

I did see from the schedule that 2 of my favorite tech presenters are not listed. I hope they are OK and just snowed in.

Garage is still coming along, very slowly which is why I am not there in Tallahassee.

Hope everything is working out and everyone is enjoying the weather and comradeship.

The Tallahassee convention has been fantastic. The weather has been 45-55 at night, and a sunny 70-80 during the day. Couldn't really ask for better.

Many people & coaches here that have never been to a GMCMI event before. More than 30 first time coaches from as far away as California & the Pacific Northwest! Several "thinking about buying" people here as well, some of these will become future owners and help keep the community thriving.

Great classes, with an emphasis on fire safety this time. We missed Dave Lenzi and Dick Patterson but other factors were steering their path this week and we look forward to seeing them again in Ohio this fall.

We had the best shrimp boil in all of Florida on Tuesday night prepared by the Dixielanders, and the Sunshine Statesmen have gone out of their way to make everyone feel welcome on their home turf.

Frank Jenkins, Jeff Sirum, Mike Sadlon, and "Mac" Mcneal showing off their great fiberglass products, including Mike's new dash birdcage, and Jim and Grace Konomata made the long journey from the west coast and kept us supplied with adjustable drag links, exhaust gaskets, and other supplies to make those "on the road" fixes that GMCers often need. Jim Bounds brought several coaches and an Olds+TH425 powered rear-engine Mercedes convertible, and held a couple of classes as well.

Mary Collie steered the Sunday morning choir with her guitar accompaniment and Dale Ropp spoke about the treasures we encounter in life. Lots of ice cream eating, Ken Frey dining, and a number of children on bicycles and the slip-n-slide enjoying memory-making trips with their parents and grandparents in the GMC.

All in all, a great week. Looking forward to the next.

Ty, what a warm, appreciative report! Thank you.

Bob and I have been thinking about the rally every day because of all the
things and people you mentioned.

Kim had told us about the low country boil. You would have to mention it
was the best! Really sorry we missed it.

Safe travels to all.
