Lots of things can cause the Onan generator to not run or run poorly. One cheap and quick way to address all these issues is to install a kit that allows you to run the Onan from either propane or gasoline via one DTDP toggle switch that can be mounted anywhere in your coach. Download the presentation I made at several GMC club events including GMCMI, GMCWS, GMCCascaders among others. Using this kit you can switch back and forth to more easily isolate your issues. You will be shocked by how much better your Onan performs running on propane. But, if you really want to run off gasoline a flip of that toggle switch will make that possible. Likely the best under $300 you will ever spend on your Onan
