Hi, Robin. Good to see you back with us! What charge per mile to haul down to Orlando and then back haul empty home?

I need to have mine hauled somewhere to have an engine change and trying to find an estimate of what the hauling will do to my checkbook by itself!

Hello everyone. Five years ago my coach was invited to leave the storage
lot she was at, and then exiled by the HOA from her temporary home in my
driveway.

A new job and a move out of state happened. Five years later, I finally
got a good opportunity to rescue her. It took a lucky combination of
finances and timing, and I happened to have work related travel near where
my coach is stored. She did not want to suck fuel from the fuel cell
located at the rear end of the coach, so a shorter run was made and the
fuel cell was placed on the passenger seat. At first turning the key did
nothing, but vigorous application of a BFH to the starter resulted in the
engine turning over and running like it had been shut off yesterday. Well,
with no small amount of steam out the back. I was able to drive her out of
the storage lot under her own power.

It is a good thing too, because there’s no way the lowboy would’ve been
able to get back there, and even if it had, there’s no way she could have
climbed aboard in that gravel. Dave Friend Transport showed up, and within
an hour, after following their drivers expert directions , I had her
backed up upon the lowboy trailer, and she was secured and on her way to
Florida to GMC Coop for restoration work.

Tomorrow we drive home. :) it is the end of one chapter and the start
of another.

From Jackson MS to Orlando FL Dave Friend Transport is charging me $2100
and in all honesty I feel like it’s not enough. About 700 miles. When I
think about the time and hassle I am saving I am glad to pay it.

3 bux a mile... an excellent price. Assuming you're changing wheels, keep the old ones and pay them forward when somebody needs some.
