This frig was beginning to show signs of age and not cooling as it used to.
The owners decided to replace the cooling system themselves.

Thanks,
I did not know that those replacement refrigeration units were available.
We took the short way when our original Nocold died. We bought a "dorm size" (under counter) two door refrigerator. This was the size that fit our 23'. The only thing I had to watch was the side clearance because the case sides are the condenser.
That and a Hazard Fright modified square wave inverter and for less than 2 GMC units, we were good for travel again.
Ok, the house bank is only good for about a day and an half of dry camping, but that is about what it was with the Nocold. Yes, we thought about adding gas, but we don't seriously dry camp so it just was not worth it to us.
