My Power Level air tank began to lose pressure after several years of perfect service. There was no leakage at any of the pipe joints so I pulled the tank and immersed it in a tub of water. The HF shutoff valve at the tank outlet had a slow leak at the valve stem. One small air bubble at ~15 second intervals. I replaced the shutoff and added a schrader valve to a spare port. It held pressure in the tub so I reinstalled the tank in the coach. It still lost pressure just more slowly. So I disconnected the Viair compressor braided hose from the tank and installed an air pressure gauge at the end of the hose after the check valve. After pumping the gauge to 140 psi it would drop to zero within a few minutes. So the check valve is leaking back to the compressor. Hmmm, two difficult to diagnose leaks at the same time...

Has anyone else had a problem with the Viair check valve leaking? Can it be cleaned up/repaired or should I replace it with one of these?

Thanks,
