We put a rubber sound reduction material down over the engine area . Then a rubber/foam backed carpet. Next only cut the two sides, and the rear edge at the screw hold downs. So I'm using those materials at the front as a hinge. Then on the right side. I installed a swing up prop rod at the right side. Has worked great. And no lifting of the entire cover anymore.
