I guess I'm just getting old & sentimental, but I've just got to share what
I consider the greatest orchestra performance I've ever seen/heard:

Thank Ken !!

These "pop-up" performances are one of my favorite spectacles.

I'd sure love to bump into one but that hasn't happened yet...

I just watched that yesterday, Ken.

I guess it's the unexpected/surprise element as well as the beautiful music
that thrills me.

Wouldn't it be fun to experience a "flash mob" out like that...

Absolutely great. For a change of pace, try Earl Scruggs and Friends with Foggy Mountain Breakdown. Look at the list of performers! Just one of many other videos I watched after the one sent on by Ken H. Lots of other musical flash mobs after Ken's including classical and especially Scottish pieces (a favorite of mine).

I knew it had to be in England somewhere—the tuba player was using a Besson
981 and that ONLY happens in England.

The trombone player made me laugh—a rather decorated performance.

I wonder how long they rehearsed their arrival—Ravel’s Bolero should have
been nearly memorized for most of them anyway.

I’ve played in shopping malls before, and those performances make me admire
this one all the more.
