Johnny,

My practice and experience is the same as yours with USAA/Progressive - for
the entire 25 years I have owned the coach. For the coach I leave in Alaska,
they insure it, charging only for the time I request it to be insured -
about three months each year (i.e., 1/4 the $125 annual amount for the
GMCMh).

Rick, don't you as a Fed qualify for USAA? I self insure the coach itself,
buy liability from USAA, who sends you to Progressive. Anyway a million
limit liability is 125 a year from them. I suspect if I were a county or
two further from the city it would be a bit less.

They gave me the information on the parked option, but I do dog shows off and on all year so I just pay the 125 and don't have to remember to call them.

Justin,

I have full coverage insurance with State Farm.

My '73 23' Canyonlands is $231.12 per year.

My 26' '77 ex-Eleganza is $285.00 per year.

The '73 23' Sequoia I lost due to fire was less than $200 per year..
