For anyone who may not have heard, Ken was recently discovered to have a
squamous cell carcinoma tumor in the lower lobe of his left lung. The
surgery was late this afternoon at Emory University Hospital and all went
well. He'll be in the hospital for 3-4 days.

Thank you for your prayers and concern.

Hi everyone,

Ken is coming along remarkably well. Yesterday, he got up and walked
around several times with no shortness of breath and is down to just the
chest tube. Hopefully, he will be released on Monday. We may stay in
Atlanta for a couple of days.

Thank you for your emails and your prayers and concern. You've been such
caring friends and family.

Elaine
