Does the price look reasonable? I bought it so that it didn't become a chicken coop in Iowa. Was just too nice. Put WAY too much time in it. I just hope I can find someone that can get as much joy out of this GMC. As we have with ours. Bob Dunahugh

I personally think you will get a buyer at that price. Consitering a 73 that was similar in condition sold earlier this summer easily at that price. And we are struggling to find a buyer at 20k for a 76 glenbrook that is in similar shape and all mechanicals done.

Bob D.:
I saw the add for your project coach on the GMCMI site - In my humble opinion it is worth more than you are asking - will make a Gr8 buy for somebody wanting a “Ready to Roll” coach. I have felt and feel it is worth 20k w/ all the expert work you have done on it.
Nice job - Man - I know you spent more time and money on this project than originally anticipated - but it will make a Gr8 coach for the new owner and you can be proud of your work for many years to come - The GMC community owes you one (Big Time)!
Congrats on a job well done.

Wow - where are you advertising the 76 Glenbrook - if all mechanicals are as good as Bob D’s - it should sell at 20K in my humble opinion!
If people realized it takes North of 25 to 30k to make them safe, reliable, & comfortable and then you pay more to personalize them and make them pretty, they would/should jump at a 20k coach that is well done.

Mike- and Bob,

Let me clarify that I think the coach is worth more, however, trying to sell if for what it is worth in today's market, can be tough. So what I was trying to let Bob know, is I believe at his price, he should be able to find a good buyer for it.

The Glenbrook is a 76, that is in the estate of one of our club members now for a year, as it has had gone over by Steve R down in Northfield. It was in decent shape and traveled to all the rally's in the past, but this past year Steve has dialed in all the mechanicals and it is driving great, and is shined up and cleaned up. The original price might have scared some off, but it is now listed at $21000. There has been a few people looking and interested, but no one has bought it yet. This coach is ready to travel anywhere as well:

scroll down to the glenbrook in Northfield, MN

When another club member contacted me to post her 73 Glacier for sale. She wanted $16,500. this was a nice looking original coach, that again was ready to go anywhere. I know that coach should of been worth more, but she was comfortable with that price, and I just told her that she should not take less. I think it was less then 30 days to sell the $16,500 coach.

I just noticed Dan out in Seattle listed his 78 Royale for sale for $18500. That is a coach that should go anywhere.

So what a coach is worth, and what it will sell for, are two different numbers. Most buyers do not understand what they are getting for the money they are paying. There are too many people who have over paid for Junk, and that really hurts the other GMC's that have a better track record of getting from Point A to point B.

I finally have a buyer for a 65 Mustang I have been trying to sell all year. It took all year to find a buyer to pay what it is worth. So more power to those that can sell these at a better price, it helps us all.
