I put new Bilsteins on the back at the last Bean Station. Because I had them. If I were going out to buy I'd use KYB.

The KYB's don't tend to self destruct when lifting the rear when under air bag pressure. Do the same with the Bilstein's and you'll probably destroy the seal and dump the oil. Always preferred the Bilstein's handling on a car but the self destructing and refusal to warranty their products pushed me into the KYB's which work well.

Another problem with the Bilsteins is the upper eye where the shock
attaches. It is a weak point and frequently breaks there. And, their
warranty sucks.
