OK, i give up, how do I get the wiring plug off this Bleepin' Duotherm
furnace? 78 Eleganza II
It's on the left side of the unit, in a space about 2" wide, and it's
about 6" too short to get both hands on to pull it apart.
And, Oh Yeah!, it has a release on the side of it that I can't operate.

Reach in with wire snips and cut the wires. You’ll need a different plug for your new furnace anyway.
Take out the fuse before cutting or you’ll blow the fuse.

That is one benefit of an in through the exterior wall model rather than in
from the inside. Way easier to work on/ remove. I could pull the in through
the exterior wall furnace on my eleganza in about 5 minutes without
disturbing the cabinets.
