new engine came with a Melling M-22FHV. I would believe that to be a high volume. it also comes with a spring to increase the volume even more. but the papers inside the pump does state that it is supplied with a pressure relief spring that is equivalent to O.E.design, and gives instructions on how to change the pring to the "pink" spring from the green spring.

Anyway, I am not asking about changing that as the O.E spring I am OK, with as long as that is the correct pump.

What i do have a question on is the pickup tube and the correct one to use. This one has a bolt on port for the pickup, and my old pump has a press in pickup.

checking the limited local part supply place that is open on a Sunday, I am coming up empty handed so far as to a bolt on pickup, and also trying to assure myself I have the correct one for the toronado/GMC FWD pan.

any help is appreciated, I will be calling around tomorrow as well, if I can't figure it out locally.
