Originally the ABS plastic cap up front. And around the big rear window matched your sun visors, and the steel bracket that the rear view mirror mounts too. The cracks can be repaired using ABS plastic pipe adhesive. Not the PVC type. Masking tape, and a drop cloth will protect the surrounding area. Wash the area with just water. Unless you find sticky areas. Or products like Armor All have been applied. As some of these cleaning products will react to the finish coat. An automotive cleaner called Paint Prep, Wax/grease remover is the best in all cases. SEM makes a spray can color that's called Sailcloth White #15603. To improve adhesion. SEM also has a produce called Sand Free #38363 as a primer. It's clear. I highly recommend Appling the Sand Free. I also did all the plastic around all the windows that was white originally. To do all the ABS plastic. You'll need 2 cans of Sand Free, and 5 cans of the Sailcloth. Cost is about $18 a can around town. On line is in the $12 range. SEM also has colors that you can use to change the other plastics in your GMC like the dash area. Bob Dunahugh Member GMCMI.
