Deb, be sure the arm which connects to the height valve isn't hitting the air line at theend of its travel.... a common problem when the original line is used with a manifold and Schrader valve. Symptom is a crimp in the line where it enters the fitting. Should this be the problem, replace the line with a longer section and coupling to the original and loop it around the arm on the valve so it's clear regardless the arm position.
